Went to the Hollows today for the second to last count before it ends for the year. One more census in September and that's it. We had encounters with several other creatures today. Linda (my sister who lives near the Hollows) had a close encounter with a friendly praying mantis. And the ruby meadowhawk landed right on my foot and stayed for a bit.
