I'm lighting a candle today for someone dear and beloved. My mom. My prayer. Bring her hope, support, comfort, compassion and surround her with divine love each moment of her day and night as she travels onward in her journeys. Let light illuminate the darkness.




(The image on the candle was transferred by stamping a favorite image using dye stamp ink )e.g. StaZOn.) Stamp onto a regular piece of tissue paper (I used white.) Cut out the image and position it on the candle. Take a piece of wax paper and wrap it around the candle and hold it tight in the back over the tissue paper image. Use an embossing heat gun and heat until the ink looks glossy underneath the wax paper. Peel off the wax paper, the tissue paper will be covered by a film of wax and imbedded into the candle.
