Robert Frost

_

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

is it not important to fill one's life with meaning and positive, sustaining energy?
I think Mr. Frost has captured that manner of thought quite well in this poem - it has snowed in Chicago, again, giving the landscape a sparkly white mask 6 inches deep. february is such a difficult month for me, this time of year I crave a gentle air, not one that bites me! I like Mr. Frost's reminder to take time to experience and consider - be open to each moment - each moment a gift that may transform or enlarge our lives - the stories we tell each other and ourselves -
